I find it amusing that a standard 21st birthday present is a set of shot glasses. Because this is exactly around the time that you grow out of using such things.
Yesterday I brought home some sunny chrysanthemums to brighten up my dining table and accidentally broke off a stem. My partner's shot glasses have made a nice makeshift posy vase. I may even take one to work for my desk.
