Maui Stencil Art

I am loving Hawaii - the island of Maui more so than the main city of Waikiki in Honolulu, Oahu.  Maui appeals to me as it feels more relaxed with its unassuming low-rise buildings. Maui has lots of little pockets of character communities - hippy seaside villages or country and western towns.  It's the last place you would expect to see urban street art, so you can imagine my surprise when I came across these amazing stencils in the car park behind the general store in Makawao.  I wish I knew who the artist was, but the work is unsigned.  I don't recognise the little girl, but I suspect that the lady is Queen Lil'ioukalani, the last monarch of the Kingdom of Hawaii.
