La Cigale

I hadn't been to the La Cigale markets in at least a year, so when I heard that they had Jerusalem Artichokes, I raced to Parnell to buy some to plant. The markets have certainly grown since my last visit and the variety and quality of products is amazing including local baked goods and produce, imported wines, mustard's and jams, gluten free goods etc, etc. It's also the place to be for toy dogs, who are accommodated for with an on site barkery (that's not a typo).

The La Cigale markets run on Saturday and Sunday mornings. Go early and go armed with a shopping bag and with an appetite. Cash is also a good idea.
