500 Days of Summer
There was a lot to love in 500 Days of Summer – the cast, the outfits, the soundtrack, the unusual views of LA, but overall the film left me cold – largely because I found the character of Summer to be manipulative and cruel. It’s like Catcher in the Rye. Technically brilliant, but oh boy do I hate Holden Caulfield.

I'm so with you - I didn't understand why everyone raved about that movie, or why anyone would fall in love with that girl.
